A line gets published when a public page says it and this desk has read that page on a date it will print.
Most poker profiles on the internet are assembled from other poker profiles. This one is slower and much shorter, and the shortness is the honest part.
What counts as a source
- The organiser's own report or results page for the event in question.
- An official player page run by the series or tour.
- Established poker press reporting the same result, used to corroborate rather than to originate.
The Hendon Mob holds public pages for a very large number of players. It is cited when it is used, and it is never scraped, mirrored or re-keyed into a competing database. Copying somebody else's ledger is not sourcing.
What gets a TBC pip instead
Everything this desk has not read. A profile with an identity and no dated line carries TBC — not yet sourced and stops there. That is not a broken page; it is a page refusing to invent a career.
What will never appear
- Net worth, salary, or a lifetime total presented as either.
- A generated portrait of a real person.
- Private life, family or health details that have nothing to do with poker.
- An affiliate link, a room, a bonus or an odds line.
Corrections
A correction is made on the page it affects and the review date on that page changes with it. Players and their representatives use the same route as everyone else, which is on the about page.
